Two hundred bottles in a hot garage, and a kitchen wall doing nothing. The two problems solved each other.
Terracotta tile floor to ceiling, blackened steel racking, and a single warm strip light that turns the wall on at dusk. Counters are honed stone so the room reads calm against the tile.
The tile was the least expensive material in the room and it is the only thing anyone photographs.
