The Galley

A River Bend galley with one window, one door and no room to move a wall. The plan had to win on inches.

Narrow galley kitchen with butcher block counters and open walnut shelving
The Galley · River Bend, NC

Nine feet wide, and it works better than most kitchens twice the size.

A River Bend galley with one window, one door and no room to move a wall. The plan had to win on inches.

Full-height cabinetry on one run, open walnut shelving on the other so the room breathes, and butcher block to keep the budget where it belonged — in the lighting and the layout.

Proof that the smallest kitchen on this page is not the least considered one.
